Who is Courtney?
Meet Courtney, a resilient and determined individual who has overcome adversity and pursued her dreams with unwavering passion. Born in Kent and raised in Newcastle, she has lived through the heartbreak of her parents' split at the young age of four, leaving a deep wound in her heart. However, with the love and support of her mother, Courtney moved to Hertfordshire in 2000 and worked hard to achieve her academic goals despite the challenges she faced in her primary school years, including bullying.
Despite these difficulties, Courtney's passion for helping children who have experienced trauma in their young lives led her to graduate with a first-class honours degree in Education and pursue further study to become a child psychologist/play therapist. Her determination and unwavering spirit are a testament to her strength and her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Endometriosis
Amidst all the challenges she faced, Courtney never let her endometriosis get the better of her. Despite being told at a young age about her low fertility rate and the decline of her chances of conceiving with each passing year, she never lost hope. She underwent numerous scans, appointments, and treatments, and is now waiting for her fourth operation. The rapid growth of her endometriosis has made it likely that she may have to have one of her ovaries removed, but she remains optimistic and continues to lead a healthy lifestyle by regularly working out and eating right, and staying on top of her mental health.
Courtney has experienced heartbreak in her romantic life. Her desire to start a family and the pressure that came with the endometriosis diagnosis proved to be too much for her long term partner, leading to the end of their relationship.
